We welcome new patients, and our team eagerly looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a healthy, brilliant smile. If you’re coming to our Midland dental office for the first time, please take a look at the information below. It can help you prepare for your visit and make sure that your experience with us is as smooth as possible. Should you have any questions about your appointment, we invite you to contact us. We’ll gladly address your concerns and help you however we can.

Your First Visit

Every patient is different and that’s why we will tailor your first visit to your individual needs. First and foremost, you will meet with Dr. Philipps for a personal interview. During this time, we can get to know your reasons for visiting us, as well as your short- and long-term goals. This conversation will determine what will follow. After your exam, Dr. Philipps will review her findings and recommend options for treatment. In some cases, we schedule a follow-up appointment, so the dentist can carefully research your case.

Your comprehensive exam may include the following:

  • Oral Cancer Screening
  • Tooth-by-Tooth Inspection
  • Occlusion (Bite) Analysis
  • Periodontal Charting
  • Digital Radiography
  • Impressions for Models
  • Digital Photography
